Play the Man

After a traumatic childhood, Joanna married at 37, and had her first child 3 years later. Tough on the exterior, but still a little girl inside, floundering vulnerable and unable to cope with family life. She speaks candidly of her own needs and the character qualities women seek in men which help them spiritually and practically to cause conflict in the home to cease.

I suppose, deep down, many men secretly hope for their woman to fuss, pamper and mother them when they marry her. Fat chance! … She wants a daddy! I know it’s unreasonable, but underneath she’s very vulnerable and still wants to feel secure in the fact that someone understands and loves her no matter how she behaves.

The Power of Women

Women have a power that transcends both the physical and mental realms. The heart of a woman is so different from that of a man, and she is able to have tremendous influence and input into the destiny of men. Joanna, using her own observations, and examples of women in the bible, proves this to be a reality. She does not hide their faults, nor make excuses them, but she does have an astute understanding of how they think and act - not always consciously, but by instinct. Every Christian man and woman should read this book. This book will challenge how you think about women ... and men.

Father of Faith

In the Footsteps of Abraham

There are so many books on faith these days, but rarely do we hear about the faith which God commends. Abraham became the 'Father of Faith'. He was the one chosen to set the standard, for without faith it is impossible to please God. In this book Joanna traces the steps which Abraham took, which earned him the respect of God. He became 'the friend of God'. This book looks at the lifestyle of Abraham, showing that he was on a path of faith that affected every aspect of his life.

It's Past Midnight!

What happened to the Promise?

This is another book about faith from Joanna. In this book she has written of how God often fulfills his promises to people after the time fulfilled has long past, in their eyes. This is an important principle that Christians should take note of and understand. God never, ever, fails to keep his promise if we stay in faith. Of course, unbelief can stop the process, and God did often change his mind and didn't do what he had promised. However, for those who refuse to have unbelief even when it is past midnight, the rewards are tremendous and life changing. This book should change the way you think about your faith and to quote from the book, 'We should either stop saying the things that prove to be a lie, or else change our lifestyle to conform to what we confess.'
